I was out today, and I saw a few Lumec Roadfocus RFSs LEDs that replaced a CH/W OV-15 3rd gen (with the lexalite lens) and AEL 115s. So looks like Tomball is now going LED now, as CPE replaces the HPS street lights to LED. Thats why you noticed some update comments on the images. I'll try to see if I can save one or two HPS fixtures, and hopefully they don't say no...

I've been noticing lately, that they've been replacing more HPS fixtures with LED here too. Mostly AEL ATB2 and ATBX. So I'm not sure they're still relamping or just putting an LED. But they definitely aren't installing HPS fixtures anymore like earlier this year. They did replace a GE M-400 from the 60s with an LED a few weeks ago and I really didn't like that. It still worked great too, so I don't get why.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Well, I haven't found any changeouts today, maybe tomorrow I'll see if there any. The intersection ones are going first and theres a few left.

Sorry to here that your city has to go through LEDisease... I just went through the same experience when my city went LED. I really hope you are able to save some fixtures, as I was not allowed to by the crews changing them. Good luck!

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.
