The 18w and 35w lamps still seem to be fairly affordable on Amazon.

In genral, you will probably find a 35w or even 50w bulb cheaper than a 18w, from what I understand.

Cheap is a thing of the past for SOX lamps now, I fear. Get them while you can; now that production has ceased, once the existing supplies have gone, that will be it  :'(
