What streetlights were there on the 1940 bridge? Look like GE Form109 but too early for them. (they came out in 1948.)

Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech? LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).
LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

That first one reminds me of an earthquake that hit my home town back in 2002. I had gotten off work and was picking up something at the computer store when it hit. We went outside and watched the streetlight poles bending and swaying.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site. Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.
I only working with the international date format (dd.mm.yyyy).
I lives in Israel, which is a 220-240V, 50hz country.

So this is a poor built hanging bridge. Hanging bridge is the most unsafe design of bridge.

Pretty much. The cables and pylons were reused for the new bridge, which still stands today. I believe the bridge was very new when it collapsed.

SRP for life.

This was called Gallopin' Gertie, which occurred near me. The bridge was constructed in a way so that the wind would cause it to flex. The bridge was only four months old when it collapsed. A dog was the only being that died. The lights are Westinghouse AD-10s.
