I've accually done that once with a cheap generic bulb i got for 75 cents.
I'll do that instead of smashing it for the next time.

At the transmitter site we have a "soda load" for the transmitters that uses sodium carbonate mixed in water as the load electrolyte.Can handle up to 750Kw.When the VSWR on the transmitter goes up-time to replace the electrolyte.It has arced in the load element chamber with the load electrodes-those had to be replaced.Wasn't there to see it blow!

Thanks dude, if you have a higher amp breaker available then use it! or if you have two phases in your house then use both for more power! That reminds me i found the sequel to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jS4GTACKETg
BTW here's its brother, as same as dangerous and its sequel. Edit: In the second video the insulation of the heater seems to be asbestos.
