Does anyone know where I can purchase non-long lasting hps bulbs. Specifically 70W medium base. I want it to cycle.

Here is a listing for some Beelite HPS bulbs (which should be pretty much identical to your Polerlites bulb in terms of quality).

Maybe look for some in thrift stores, Habitat Restores, etc that have signs of use such as partially blackened arc tube.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.
