Differences between chemistry of Sylvania HSI-TD 70W /D and /CD version « on: April 28, 2020, 10:04:23 AM » Author: dor123
There are four light colors of the Sylvania HSI-TD 70W: /WDL, /NDL, /D and /CD.
I know that the /WDL and the /NDL have Na-Sc, and James said somewhere in the site, that the /D have the same chemistry as the daylight rare-earths MH of Osram (Dy-Tl-Cs), and the /D I have, also have lithium as an impurity from the quartz.
But the /CD is 6500K compared to the ~5400K of the /D. So what is the chemistry of the /CD and what is the differences between it and the /D?
