As far as I know, Commercial Electric and n:vision are both Home Depot brands, just like Bright Effects is a Lowe's brand.  Most if not all Commercial Electric and n:vision lamps are made by TCP.

Commercial electric was Home Depot's brand, which has sense been replaced by n'vision.  CFLs for both are mostly made by TCP, along with GE's current circline fluorescent adapters.  Their circline adapters are preheat.
