"I know a thing or two about a thing or two... I sure do."
Duke have this note on their website for reporting lights out:"Duke Energy is gradually converting its outdoor lighting to a more efficient illumination source of LED. If our lighting technician determines the repair you request requires more than a bulb or photocell replacement, we will upgrade the fixture to an LED to remain in accordance with recent Florida Public Service Commission tariff adjustments. If an LED change-out occurs, your monthly charge may change."So if they have to change to LED, it might cost more for the monthly bill. Although, sometimes Duke do use HPS fixtures to replace, so I'm not sure what happens, then.
Long live the Incandescent streetlights!Power Company: Eversource Startup Landscaping/LED retrofit business.
I’m sure they are taking about the rental lights. The cost will decrease and so will the lumens.
I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.
