Well now, around colorado, they install m-400's. not the kind i have, the other ones. i think its m400 r3? with the flat back, (where the pole goes in) I do have pictures of some. they have them on the road. where they are re doing it, making it 4 lanes instead of 2. they are doing the same kind. But in Lakewood, they are doing one kind, replacing almost ALL of the older ones, with a newer kind. not m-400, an unknown kind that i think it might be from cooper. No pictures of that kind. I might get some later. And in downtown bailey, they have a lot of GE, Mercury vapor (hence the blue stickers) and they replaced alot there, but there all mercury vapor. But in denver, min the beginning, i think they used full cutoffs of Thomas and Betts model 25's you see them everywhere in denver, even along 70. but there's other kinds too. and almost all of them are full cutoffs, a few are not full cutoffs. All the new ones are full cutoffs. Thats what they install here. when i finish uploading my gallery, youll see what we have here in colorado.

At home in Alaska, the state mostly uses M400s, with the next most common being Hubble RL series, followed by Crouse-Hinds OVMs.  The M400s are mostly FCO with a some drop lens and some drop lens with glairsheilds.  The Hubbels and Crouse-Hinds are all FCO.  All lights are HPS.

The city uses mostly ITT/AE/T&B between 150 and 400 watt HPS with a mix of drop lens and FCO.  Next most common would be GE M250/400 series, with the same mix of wattages and optics.  They have a few random OVMs and RLs, mostly 400 watt HPS FCO.  They are currently in the process of converting many street lights over to BetaLEDs.

Here in Louisiana, the vast majority of street lights are NEMAs with a mix of 175 watt MV and 100 watt HPS.  Second most common would be Cooper OVX HPS between 250 and 400 watts with drop lenses.  The rest are a mix of GE M-series and Westinghouse Silverliners.  There are a couple streets lit with OV20s.  No FCOs here.

Worcester MA (and surrounding areas under National Grid control) are all HPS since the conversion back in the 90's. They primarily have GE fixtures (M250R2 and M400R3) but have had a spurt of AE's (installed during the 90's) and more recently Coopers for 2 or so years in inventory but they seem to always go back to GE's (even though the M250R2's doors are very prone to falling off).

Ok then, gailgrove is referring to This one then. I've never actually figured out who made that luminaire though. If someone can identify it for me then I'll add it to the list.

You have to link them using the link under the pic. Not the URL in your address bar.

Coppermine is that way, so Use the link under the pic. (in picture info) then it will go to the right one all the time. The URL is not a good one.
