I've carried on with the writing, which is one if the reasons I haven't been very active in the site.
Adventures of a Space Munky is now at nearly 55,000 words with four quite long chapters completed and a fifth under way. 
I'm just waiting for new ideas to come to me. 

When your done, are you going it publish it somewhere? Sounds like a good read! I'm not the best with writing, always bad at a lot of thing in English except reading, can speed-run a book given enough time. I have had a few idea floating around my head, but never sat down and wrote something.

@Bulbman - I might go down the self publishing route, some authors have done that and the exposure has led to a deal with a big publisher. 

I myself currently have a manuscript going: Another one of my hobbies has lent itself to enough experiences I'm literally writing a book.

Inspired by our recent trip:

Just a quick update with regard to Space Munky. We have been in touch with a self-publishing company, and when I've finished writting the book we'll be sending it off.
