I would like to welcome Owen (HomeBrewLamps) to the Lighting-Gallery.net administration team.  As it was, we realized there were times during a typical day when a moderator was not readily available to intervene or offer guidance.   Owen has been an involved and well-regarded member of our community for the past couple of years.  We believe his addition will help us better provide prompt and attentive assistance to the membership.  As a reminder, the team consists of myself (Patrick), Dave L. (DaveMan), Dave D. (Silverliner), and Rudy (RCM442).  We will not be taking on any more moderators immediately until we have had a chance to evaluate whether additional volunteers would provide further benefit.  However, if you have recently expressed interest, or would like to express interest, we will keep your names in mind for the future.

Welcome!  I had noted his name showing up in red today and was thinking 'Oh, I guess he is now a mod, sweet!'

I think at one point in time in the past I also offered to help moderate the site, although my coding etc skills suck- there was a 'help wanted' thread.  This community has done a lot for me, though!

A good choice, he's already moved some misplaced threads into the correct boards. 

I'm no coder but I may be interested in the future to be a mod, seeing as I am on here daily.
