What do P.S. No. mean on GE fans, etc? « on: October 30, 2019, 09:39:42 PM » Author: Cole D.
I have two GE box fans, vintage ones, and I noticed on the sticker it has a four digit P.S. No.

Do anyone know what P.S. No. means? Is this date code? I know on GE electronics, they used a four digit date code usually. I wonder if the fans were the same way. But not all GE fans, have that number on it.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

The only thing I know of P.S. meaning is packing slip.

From what I have been able to glean from t'interweb 'PS' refers to a company called Parts Select and is their reference number that  cross-references with the GE number.
