Got this from Daily Giz Wiz. http://plantalamp.net/ which turns an ordinary indoor plant into a touch dimmer. Costs $30, might be a good present if the recipient like lighting and has green thumbs.

I TOTALLY believe it that it would work! Why? Well I did a test (knowing exactly what I was doing, don't play with electricity if you dunno what you are doing....but I was outside I tested a volt meter using an outlet and a bush next to it and use those to test voltage, the voltage was lower than 120 but it did make a good effect!

Hmmm remind me? Bulbs??? Tulip flowers? the 5 billion African dollars?
