I've got to figure out a way of mounting this so that we can use it as a floor lamp.

At least it can be mounted as a post-top rather than just side entry, which makes it a lot easier.

We spent quite a chunk of the day making up the display board for our 18W SOX lamp. 

So here is the result of our labour. 

Looking at what we've had recently lit as our 'Lamp of the Day' we realised that mercury was lagging behind.! 

Today we have rectified that, and here is our 1954 80W HPL lamp.

This was actually our lamp of the day yesterday, but I've only got round to posting it now.

The colour of these Super SOX lamps is really wonderful, they really were the best  

We got an HPS reflector lamp today, unfortunately the arc tube was knocked a bit off centre, but it still works okay.
