So everyone, what would be the oldest street or security lights still installed/in service in your area? I was at first going to put only utility/municipally owned fixtures, but I figured I'd include privately owned fixtures as a secondary.
For my area I'll say it's a toss up between a GE M-400 from the early 1960s, two American Electric 15-000 from the early 60s or two Westinghouse OV-15 from the 60s. For NEMAs it's some GE 101SA (not sure how many there are) and a few Westinghouse Viscounts. There used to be another early M-400 PAL at a business but it recently stopped working.

For streetlights, it's only 4 OV-25s I saw. And a 100w HPS M-250R1 if you can count those. The oldest security lights are typically McGraw Edison/Handyman NH1204M 175w MV lights and ITT/American Electric DR70Hs, DR100Ms, and R175Ms Also the occasional NEMA head.

There is a mobile home park in Columbus that is lit by Incandescent westy gumballs on approx. 20ft steel light poles. Most of them still work !

Yeah, a few houses in my neighborhood have those McGraw Edison Handyman lights too, which I like them. Also nearby I saw a yard light that looks like a NEMA head and it has a smooth reflector. I think it could be one of those Norelco ones, from the 1970s. But I've never seen it on at night.
Also yet, a few other homes have those older GE post tops from the 60s or 70s, in MV.
That's cool, I've never seen any gumballs around here or incandescent street/yard lights either.

Toronto has some pretty old stuff still in use. Pemco Fishhead and GE M-400 - MV retrofitted to HPS in the 1990s. Powerlite Radial WaveFirst gen OV-25 - MV retrofitted to HPS OV-20 Pendant - 400w MV GEC "Diffractor" Z8128 - 400w MV I believe this is a UK streetlight that's probably from the late 1940s to 1950s. I have some more listed here in one of my galleries. Palmerston Blvd lights These might not look special but I believe these are among the oldest lights in the city. The poles and fixtures are from the 1900s but they've been retrofitted from incandescent to PSMH and the globes from glass to plastic.

I love how Toronto has all of those MH gumballs. They look great.

Yeah, they're pretty neat and much better alternative to installing HPS. The majority of the gumballs were installed in the mid 90s and replaced multiple incandescent gumballs. The model used in the initial install are Cooper URB which were discontinued in 2008ish. Newer installations use bare aluminium King Luminaire PSMH teardrop fixtures.

ITT Low Pressure Sodium NEMA
|
No street lights or utility-owned lights in my neighborhood. Oldest I know would probably be the mercury NEMA that my neighbor across the street has on his meter pole. It's been there since power was run in the area back around 1986. It looks like an AE, or possibly an ITT. The refractor has been missing as far back as I can remember. It used to have a BT cleartop bulb in it, but back in the 90s, it was relamped with a clear ED bulb. It was formerly in dusk to dawn service, but I've never seen the current occupant run it.

The oldest street light in my area i think is a GEC Z5590 that is quietly wasting away in a ship yard.

All LED in 3000K from 2014...before that ITT/American Electric model 13 100W/S54 HPS on residential streets. On arterials, LMI/McGraw-Edison Unidor-400's, Westinghouse OV-50's and ITT/American-Electric model 25's...all HPS in either 200, 250, and 400 watts.

Neat that they used 3000k then, it seems most 3000k LED installations happened within the past 3 years. How well have they kept their color?

If we are talking utility owned lights, the oldest street lights in my hometown are probably some ITT Model 13's in 100 and 150 watt HPS scattered throughout the city.

Nice. I don't know of any 13s here but there are some ITT/AE Model 25s, in MV and HPS. I really like those, I kind of forgot to mention them, because I figured they aren't quite as old as OV-15s and 15-000s.

There are a lot of 1960`s GE Powr/Brackets in my area owned by the utility that are rented in peoples yards in our neghborhood. As for private lights, there is a 1980`s Regent Superliter about 30 minutes from my house.
