Lots of rain here. It's been 45° and raining all week. We did get a foot and a half of snow at the towards the beginning of this month. There have already been signs of spring here. The Spring Peepers have been chirping away at night in the woods.

Geez, I hope nobody else gets hurt or killed.
Probably already seen it, but 3 killed, 10 injured in that tornado.
NWS damage surveys found it to be EF-3 damage

We had multiple days with highs in the 60's here. Winter is on its way back for the weekend though.

Get ready y’all, it’s going to be an explosive severe storm outbreak throughout the entire South today and tomorrow  :o According to the graphic, Mississippi and South Carolina will have the highest risk for tornadoes. They’re calling for damaging winds and large hail too. Having experienced a tornado last spring, I’m really staying alert and taking this situation seriously. Hope everyone stays safe!

We had a blizzard come through where I'm at on the weekend.
So got some pretty good snow along with a bit of wind.

On Monday we had a few small ones break out southeast of us. Had a nasty storm late last night into the morning, stay safe!

With what CEB1993 mentioned above... that could be a pretty dangerous storm system today.
And in the time I've been truly watching weather online & such (which is really just a couple years) its one of the strongest(if not the strongest overall) that I've seen.

1st pic is the Convective Outlook(ie: thunderstorms)...That magenta area in particular(something you rarely see) is the big danger zone, but anything yellow & above is still dangerous. (dark green can easily have severe weather too)

2nd pic is the Tornado Outlook... Any of it is ofcourse a threat for tornadic storms, but once you start seeing yellow, and red, whoa watch out! then magenta, & purple(rare, and I've never seen before), thats truly dangerous storm possibility!  The black dashed (Sig) area is where the chance of Significant tornadoes is (that meaning large and/or long-track).

----------------
Guys, get your video cameras charged & ready!!

But really if anyone you know in any of those areas, make sure they are aware of the threat today/tonight. If you've got a storm shelter, be sure everything is ready to go there. Stay safe! & Best of luck that you don't actually get a tornado

Thanks for the graphics  :) There have already been some strong tornadoes in Mississippi today. The tornado risk has increased to critical levels in central Alabama for tonight. Starting early tomorrow morning is when it's going to be a very dangerous situation in my neck of the woods in the Carolinas. I'm sure I'll get a rude awakening with some early morning thunder and rain. They're calling for "large hail, heavy downpours, gusty winds, and possibility of devastating tornadoes" everywhere in the highlighted areas.

So far I've had a few heavy rain showers this afternoon, but I'm afraid it's going to get much worse tomorrow morning. To all my fellow LG members in this path, please stay safe
