That's cold for me! We have 29°C at day and 19°C at night.

I don't talk much about snow because I HATE everything winter. Even the word. But... we've got a form of severe weather
here regarding snow right now. We're in a Winter Storm Warning, and up to 10 inches of snow is expected to hit my area.   Great.

Sounds like those thunderstorms were definitely severe then in North Carolina. Looks like I'm gonna have to do some searching on YouTube
to see if there are any video recordings of the supercell storm/tornado.

Sounds like Ontario to be honest. Maybe except for the tornados, we get those only once in a blue moon. It's 17F here right now, a bit cold but not freezing like where you are.

Over the night everything became glazed in ice and we’re possibly getting some snow. Also we’re getting more snow and ice Friday!

That North Carolina tornado situation is all over the news. That tornado resulted in injuries and fatalities....

Meantime, over here, the snow has trapped me in my apartment temporarily until the snow crews clean everything.

Yes, I’ve heard about the NC tornadoes too! Looks like I dodged a bullet yesterday with that. They didn’t issue any tornado watches and it sounds like it unfortunately caught a lot of people off guard.

I got a heavy thunderstorm yesterday afternoon. A big clap of thunder woke me up from my nap and my phone buzzed with an airport weather warning for “cloud to ground lighting.” Something within a few miles of my house got hit by lighting yesterday  :o
