I was going to get about 8-12 inches of snow, but in typical Jersey fashion, it started raining while it was snowing. >:( :curse: I still ended up getting a good 6 inches though.

The Weather Channel is calling for a rain/snow mix and a few snow showers overnight on Christmas Eve for me. In South Carolina, any snow no matter how light is big news. It would be the second White Christmas I’ve seen in my lifetime. I really enjoy snow and it will be even more special if it happens Christmas Day  :)

I miss the real hard winters here in the lower part of Switzerland which we had decades ago.

They cut back on the snow forecast in my area for Christmas  :-\ It’s going to be wild weather nevertheless here in South Carolina. For me, it will be 55 degrees and heavy rain on Christmas Eve and then sharply colder on Christmas Day. They’re forecasting about 38 degrees and sunny for December 25  8)

On the SC coast, it will be warmer with a chance of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes on Christmas Eve. All from the same system that’s bringing a blizzard in the Midwest. Hopefully nothing too destructive happens here in SC right before Christmas.

Supposed to be a high of 58 & sunny here on Christmas. That's the one day a year I'd rather see a good snowstorm.

Oh how I'd love a good thunderstorm! .. maybe combine that with my above statement for: for a Thundersnow storm .cool. (rare, but on occasion we've got one(non severe) in the spring or fall)

Thanks to the Gulf Stream, we never get severe weather here.

When I looked out of the window today I saw that there had been the first snowfall of the season, just a very light dusting though.
