When I'm walking home from school, it's about 36degC. Not super hot, but after half an hour of that every day, it gets real old. Thankfully winter is coming soon!

I remember July 2023 when it 38°C in England and it was so hot. I believe this could of been the hottest day in England since a decade (or 2000)

Usually I collect bulbs (Mostly LED) and some HID ones. I also own a couple of streetlights, but most are made in Poland.

However, I mostly prefer SOX bulbs. LED bulbs in their efficacy will never beat SOX bulbs, in my opinion.

I'm just sick and tired of the up & down temps around here ! 80°f last Friday and 47°f today !!!  :curse:  ...And why do I always get sick this time of year ????
Yep get allot of up & down temps here too this time of year..
Could be 70 one day then freezing & snow the next.
Its not the changes in temp that get to me, but the changes in barometric pressure, that s... can put me down with a migraine.

We’ve had some crazy temp changes here too, this morning it 49 and got up to 80. Seems we still have one or two cold fronts left to go this year at least. After a week of temps in the high 80s, dropped to the high 40s a few mornings.

I got some decent footage of a wicked storm that went over us last night. We got a line of storms, some of which had rotation. They were moving quick
and I went over to my garage to view the storm. There was still blue sky over us, but dark skies behind the trees, with lightning, and distant tornado
sirens. (Captured this on video.)
So I took my motorcycle and rode to the other side of the apartment complex to get a better view of the storm as it rolled in. While I was on that side
of the complex, I captured everything on video, including when the sirens for our county activated. I also captured what looked to have been a shelf
cloud as it rolled towards our way... and after I rode back to my garage, I captured the moment when the shelf cloud was about to pass over me. lol
I turned off the camera, turned off the Metal Halides in my garage, shut the garage door and quickly went inside. lol... although that storm wasn't as
powerful as a classic Supercell, it was still definitely potent. I'll have to see if there was any damage, once it's morning time. Still too dark as
of now.

@suzukir122:
Nice. LOL thats like a mini 'storm-chase on a motorcycle! Are you gonna post a vid on YouTube?

And yeah those QLCS storms can pack a real punch. (plus can have embedded tornadoes and/or supercells)
With rotation in the storm, not surprizing they activated the tornado sirens QLCS storms can spin up a tornado fast.

A couple weeks ago I got something not severe, but rare & cool: Thundersnow!

It got pretty violent towards the end of my video when I was closing the garage. You could hear a slight roar as the shelf cloud passed over me.
Also, the national weather service confirmed 3 F0 tornadoes touched down in Warren (my county) and Butler county areas... it's very likely that the
slight roar that I heard may have been an F0 tornado, but there was no damage in my area, at least none that I know of. The roar is definitely evident
in that video, and I kind of talked about it in video as well, not knowing that it might've actually been a tornado.
I'm thinking about posting that video... we will see... but if I do, it'll definitely either be un-listed, or on one of my other YouTube channels. lol
It wasn't really a storm chase though... I just rode my bike to the other side of the apartment complex, before shutting it off.

Very serious T-storms and pounding rain tonight. Lots of close cloud-to-ground hits. I think my neighbor's tree was struck. Due to the heavy rain, I don't think it caused a fire, but it's likely that tree is now dead. Lightning hit one of our 50+ year-old firs about three years ago, and it never recovered. It sits sad and dead amongst its living peers now...

Still pouring rain here too.

I heard some thunder last night and heard some areas had power outages, but didn’t have any here.
