Nothing severe here either, but we did just get hit with some heavy rain, with more rain on the way.
I'm tempted to let my sportcar sit in it for a slight car wash, to get most of that caked salt off of the car. I'm also
keeping an eye on those storms down south... looks like Tuscaloosa Alabama is also in the path.

We had some of the thickest fog I’ve seen a few mornings this week. Especially Monday - Wednesday.

@suzukir122:
Yep, sometimes rain does a fairly decent job of washing a car. .lol. atleast like you said, you'll get some of the salt & carp off of it..

Looking at the various watches, those storms down south are going to run *all night*. Allot of people down there could be in for some rough weather tonight.
hail/tornadoes/high-winds/flooding all are going to happen. (hopefully none of it will be too bad though)

Well the snow came and left, and dropped pretty much a foot of snow here for a measured total of 59.8cm or 23.5" of snow over the past 9 days. Unfortunately looks like temperatures will be below freezing for at least the next week so it looks like the piled snow will be sticking around for a while.

2-1/2" would be a dream compared to the 10-12" we got between Saturday and Sunday. I ended up shovelling 3 times. :o

Now I hope we don't anymore big snowstorms, running out of places to pile the stuff lol.

Yeah, I think I'm going to need a massage from all of this shoveling . I think there's at least 8-9ft of snow piled up in front of my house.

@wide-lite 1000, I guess maybe we don't see similar weather all the time then. (You're not far from me) Over here, we got about 2" of snow, trapping
my sportcar in the garage once again. (I'm trapped until this snow is gone.) I'm out of luck there because we will be below freezing for the rest of
this week. Hopefully the IDIOTS that drive the snow plows can actually do a good job this time.

Filament LEDs. Both a blessing and a curse.

Last night we had a pretty severe windstorm... sustained wind gusts up to 60mph... a lady in NE Philly died because a tree fell and hit her car while she was in it.

Around 45K people are w/o power currently. Half of my township is in the dark (not us, our cables are run underground) due to a massive oak tree falling and splitting a telephone pole in two. One of my friends got a video of what sounded like an arcing / cracking / popping noise which I assume came from an arcing transformer or wire.

Reminds of the bomb cyclone that we got a few months ago.

Had a quick little snowstorm move through on Sat...
Started as what was maybe sleet, then converted to snow. Dropped a couple inches & then mostly quit. But remained cloudy/cold for the rest of the day.

Now another arctic system has moved in, so bitter cold lows in the single digits again.

It’s been dry here but it looks like we MIGHT get some rain tonight as there’s a lot headed this way on the radar.
