Currently hanging out in my basement, tornado warnings in my county right now. :-\
If there was a Tor warning in my county.....I'd be grabbing the camcorder & heading out the door to go after that storm. .lol.

I got a bunch of rain and saw a TON of lighting but that was it !
Sounds pretty much like an ideal storm :)

Another brutal summer day here in the Fort Lauderdale area.
With a heat index of 111 degrees!!
Then starting at 3pm ferocious thunderstorms roared through the area like a freight train out of control leaving behind serious power outages.
A large portion of my hometown of Sunrise is without power and at the moment at 6:30pm Florida Power & Light is struggling to get enough crews out to make the necessary repairs.
Gonna be a long night!

I've had a total of zero thunderstorms this season.. :( :( just a few very minor thundershowers, and very little rain.
Having basically nothing like that is not only pretty unusual, but also very disappointing.

This was the SPC severe weather outlook for today...
On one hand it looks like an evil face,
but on another hand, it looks like a certain type of furry critter (Gearjammer should be able to see it!)
Just look at how those eyes are..

Let's hope you get it working! Those old window units will last you a lifetime compared to modern ones.

NH has had about 3 storms in the past week and down here in Virginia right now it's been quite sunny with a small thunderstorm Friday night.

We’ve had a record here in the UK of 40 degrees C (104 degrees F), today!, and certain parts of scrubland have caught fire!, it’s the FIRST time in my life I’ve ever known wildfires to happen in Britain near me!

And the first time we’ve had it this hot in houses that DON’T have AC installed in them!  @-@
