@Morbid Angel:
You'll be fine, its turning more northward & will miss Florida, and looks like it should miss the US entirely for that matter.
Now Bermuda :o they could be in trouble.

(but we all know forecasts can change as it gets closer)

Well the incredibly well formed hurricane Sam continues to roar across the Atlantic growing in power and fury and will be aimed at Florida for the next several days.
Unknown if Florida will be struck but if we are...it won't be pretty!
I've been reading the data from the National Hurricane Center and it's just incredible how well this thing is formed.
I've spent only 43 years in Florida and in 2005 survived the power of 120 mph winds and 150 mph gusts as the eye of Hurricane Wilma roared right over and through Fort Lauderdale!
Stay safe my friend!

Tonight, a thunderstorm rolled into SoCal heading north from the ocean. The storm brought rain, lightning, and even some hail throughout the region, especially towards the mountains. Interestingly enough, a similar thunderstorm rolled into the same area back in October of 2018.

Well, I'm right in the middle of an enhanced risk of severe weather on Sunday and it looks like it might get pretty bad here. Wish me luck on Sunday!

Currently not at kansas speedway, my mom wanted me home for good reason. Severe thunderstorms are forming near me and i was watching the race on tv, and 11 laps in the yellow flag was called for rain, now its under red. There is a tornado north of me and a bunch of clouds appearing, so its a bit spooky right now. Atleast if the race gets pushed to tomorrow i get to skip school to go there.

If it were me, I'd be watching the storms (maybe videoing), not watching the TV. .LOL.

Depending -how far north- / -if it was not that far of a drive- .. I'd be going after that thing, videocamera at the ready! No hiding from storms or anything.....

I think my weather is broken, it never does anything extreme!  :wndr:

The closest thing to severe weather I regularly go through is 30cm snowfalls with 70kph wind gusts...

On the other hand driving into an unexpected (and thick) fog patch on the highway does feel kind of extreme.  :mrg:

We've just checked our local forecast and the wind speed is going to be gusting up to 90mph.!!  :poof: @-@ :o

The advice is to stay put, I can tell you that they've got no worry on that score...

Just the opposite where I'm at...
here it is almost the end of November, and we've had basically nothing (there was a half-inch last Wed night, but that's it for the season so far. Very unusual.)
Down in Denver where the official weather-records are kept, no snow yet, so a new record of latest first snowfall will be set when they do get some (old record was Nov 21)

It’s very rare for it to snow in Cheshire in November, we usually get all the snow in January here! , but what’s worse, it’s now 2:30 in the morning here, and that snow is now freezing hard!  :o :o
There’s going to be so many accidents in 7 hours time when it’s Monday morning rush hour!
