A few days ago we got hit by a Nor Easter. It gave us at least 5-6 inches of snow.

Tomorrow we are expected to get another snowstorm. I think we are expecting around 6 inches.

We woke up to snow today, just a very light dusting of less than half an inch, but that's all we usually get. The last time we got anything seriously heavy was 2010/11 when there was a couple of feet of the bloody STUFF.  >:(

At the end of 2020 we got 3 feet! Some of the snow from that storm is still here! ::)

If we got that here in December (and assuming a 'normal' winter afterwards)...some of it'd be around til spring...

We are getting more snow exactly 1 week after it started snowing (Only 4 days 12 hours after it stopped because that snow lasted for 2 days and 6 hours straight). It is expected to be 4 to 8 inches on top of the 8 inches of snow we already have! Also, we are expected to get even more next weekend!

Tomorrow is online for me because of the snow. I really wish they would just cancel school though instead of making it remote. >:( I chose to be fully in person for school, so I should not have any remote days after tomorrow.

Last week there were some severe rains here, some regions of the city flooded and electricity and water services got interrupted in some parts, it lasted two days. Here almost never rains I think that will be the only rain of that size in the whole year, and also every year there are even less rainy days, last time it snowed was back in 2017.

Today the high was around 50, and it was sorta windy all day. Add to that we're in a drought, so there's very little snow around(only little bits in shaded areas or north facing slopes)... with the dry conditions+wind, there were 2 small wildfires that happened here today.

A coldfront/arctic air moved in this evening, now the temp is down to 18F, and its snowing lightly (no accumulation expected though).
