I knew you were that eBay seller. Anyways, a price of 29.99-34.99 might be more appropriate. If it was a more rare variant (like /C or /N instead of /DX) then $39 would probably be better.

OK $34.99 it is, I just revised it.
If it doesn't sell we will re-evaluate the price in a few months.
Thanks for the help!

Rule of thumb...when a lamp is not in its original packaging, it most likely is used. (I found this out the hard way. )

Not always ! , the cleartop I bought from him has a crystal clear arc-tube and had not so much as a scratch on the center contact on the base until I screwed it in and ran it up. Besides I've seen several NOS lamps both on LG and in person that the original packaging was just confetti ! furthermore I remember seeing pictures of someones eBay purchase of 400 watt mercs that had old used bonus lines in newer sleeves there was just recently on eBay a seller that had a bunch of 100w MV DX clearbanders mid 70's date code i think that were in westy lifeguard sleeves with an early 80's date on them so either way it's a crapshoot

I didn't even notice the sleeve was incorrect until I saw this post. Whoops. We buy decades old stock from retiring lighting suppliers, stuff like this happens all the time.
