Both of those sound rather sketchy. Get a Sylvania or Eye lamp if you want something decent.

Yeah Sylvania or Eye is what I would also go for if you're using modern lamps. Vintage lamps I would probably go with a NOS Westinghouse Lifeguard. There's a chance that the same OEM makes both the Globe and Noma brand lamps. Usually the OEM is something like Caster.
