Not bad choices but you can no longer install MV fixtures, also one thing to keep in mind is the people affected by the lighting.

Anyways as for the NEMA's I would love the idea but most likely use MH, a bit more pricy but much better light color that HPS.

cool, but metal halide lamps in general come in multiple color tempatures,of course 4000-4200k is the most common but why not use cmh lamps as low as 2700k or as high 20,000k,ceramic metal halide lamps present us with the ability to pick our favorite color, and btw i would also install....

400 watt cmh M-400-R2'S

400 watt cmh M-400-R3'S

400 watt cmh Model 125

also i would install some cmh ovx's and ovd/ovy's

however i would not install durastars

320 watt Pulse start MHs in parking lot
175 watt MH or CMH NEMA heads with refurbished gumball lens and older fittings for most residential roads
250 Pulse or probe start watt MHs for main roads
50 watt or LED's for walkways
any source of lamps 200 watt or lower for private residential property
any source of lamps 400 watt or lower for private commercial property
1000 watt MH lamps are limited option and must be reasonable because they are OVERKILL!
Any private property or residential asking for HPS will be charged extra

If I was in charge, I'd probably install 175 watt metal halide fixtures on residential streets and use 400 watt metal halide for the main roads.
