Safe to grow sunflowers under 24 hours light? « on: June 26, 2018, 10:12:06 PM » Author: HomeBrewLamps
I have them under a 70W Sodium... They seem fairly happy... They seem to be growing faster over the course of the past few days.... But is it safe long term leaving them under 24 hour light?

Plants can be grown with 24h light for awhile...but in the long run it really is better to give them a 'rest period' ie: a night.

People grow sunflowers here where it doesn't get dark at night.

I thing the half year night has not much sun...
And the other half year you have any night at all?
:-)

But I don't thing there is enough sun to grow any more than just barely at all...
