YES. I am... but... only strong thunderstorms, severe thunderstorms, and supercell thunderstorms, catch my interest. Tornadoes, which are associated with supercell thunderstorms, catch my interest as well.

Do you mean like a weather app? If so, unfortunately I do not... not now. I don't have enough space on my phone to download it. Originally, I would definitely have it. I just need a new, better phone. lol I do rely on the local weather radar/interactive radar to determine where a storm is located though.

Have had a radio since 2007... has not been receiving signals real well lately... starting to wonder if it has finally died.

I like weather. I just wish it wouldn't drop out of the sky onto my head quite so much

Yes, I like monitoring the weather. I do have an Acurite weather station that measures indoor/outdoor temp, humidity, windspeed and barometric pressure. I have another Acurite one that's only indoor/outdoor temp but I haven't used it. I got a solar shield for it too but never put it outside.

Does it have lightning detection like mine?

Heres more, the expander which basically has four switches, 5 LED indicators for status and a search channel button, and the 5 in 1 sensor which is on my fence outside. Yet the expander keeps my weather station at full bars. Which is good.

No. The one I have that measures the wind, dewpoint, etc is kind of shaped like a tornado siren. The screen looks similar to the one in your post above but it's black and white, no colors. I got it on eBay for $30 or so. The one I have that just measures the temperature looks like the sensor and expander devices you have and has a red LED on it. I also got a solar shield for that one that is pagoda shaped and has plastic louvers. I had to order the solar shield direct from Acurite. It can also fit the lightning detector sensor you have. I bought the station itself from Walmart for $10 I think.
