Oh no! That sucks. I'm terribly sorry for your loss.

That's unfortunate. Hopefully you will find someone that will accept you for who you are.

Is your lockdown more strict than the US lockdown? If it is, I can definitely see why someone would start to get annoyed after 11 months of this crap.

Right now, we're not allowed to visit another persons home, so couples who live apart are breaking the rules if they visit. Things seem better today so this might be okay

That sounds like it sucks to be a couple in Canada right now!

Depends on the province, Ontario isn't that bad compared to Quebec where they have a mandatory stay home after 8pm for everyone, and they are even fining homeless people....

Sorry to hear that. While indoor visits are currently prohibited, under the current rules, people can still gather in groups of up to 5 in outdoor places like a park or backyard without getting scrutiny, well at least down in Toronto so that could be an option, especially if you bundle up, up to -10C isn't that bad for a couple hours outside. Might be harder though if you have to travel via public transit though. The other annoying thing is that almost all retail is closed for in person shopping aside from grocery stores and large big box stores that sell groceries like Wal-Mart.

How do they actually enforce the visiting other's homes ban?

I don't suppose they can if it's local and within reasonable travelling distance, although with some areas there are always nosy neighbours who will report things. The police can randomly stop cars on the motorways and ask why people are travelling, it's all speculation. Although I do know of cases in the news here where people have been turned around by police and sent home with a big fine All we want here is for our lives to get back to some semblance of normality, but it's looking less and less likely it's going to be any time soon Anyway, back on topic please, people

I really do wish I could meet someone, but I think I missed my chance back in 2006. Personally, I think we're all capable of more than one great love in your life, but I honestly think there's always that one person that will own your heart forever. You may move on and meet somebody else, even have a happy life with another person, but there will forever be that one man or woman you will never forget.

I’ll probably never get that special someone, considering that I’m a fat ugly pimple-ridden man with autism. It would be funny, if it wasn’t so sad.
