So this lamp has a good 10 seconds of pink at start-up. Don't think I have seen MV lamps that remain pink, don't even think it's possible. This one is a Westinghouse, and yes, I'll give it up reluctantly. The arc-tube is quite clear and the phosphor on bulb is pretty good.
