If I was in charge, I would have the ballasts in older streetlights replaced with metal halide ones rather than having them replaced with today's garbage.

that's a great idea chapman84!
if i was in charge i would also use conversion ceramic metal halide lamps to be used on high pressure sodium ballast,anything to keep the old fixtures and white light!
