Ria found at the back of a drawer another 50W MV lamp so that's what we have got lit today. 

Currently watching a GE F40T12K&B reach EOL.
The bad end has started flickering and changing color.

Last night I tested some old GE 3 way (and one 4 way) mercury switches.

We've lit our little 10W SOX safelight, aka Tiny Tim   

Fired up the good old CDM860 lamp. Need some extra light on a otherwise dreary winter day. 

Nothing beats the warm glow of a SOX lamp in our opinion.   

Bought a case of GE National Mazda incandescent lamps for a great price.

We have our lamps taking up the whole of a cupboard and a chest of drawers. 
That's not including the ones piled up on chairs and virtually every flat surface we have.!! 
Oh and we have  under the bed.

All my lamps are sitting in an American archival cardboard box and a regular shoe box, I don't have that much yet, but I don't plan to. 

You seriously need to run to the nearest home store and buy the biggest closet available.

Buying a big closet is one thing, finding somewhere to actually put it is another

Well that means more cool lamps right? And since you have no leds in your light bulb gene pool, there can never be more!

Not strictly today, but yesterday i did a comparison test of some lamps for my kitchen, i also made a very unsafe light fixture!

Later on today, we will be playing 'hunt the lamp' 
We wanted to light up our US spec 25W HPS one yesterday, but it wasn't in the box it should have been in. 
So today we're going to have to haul every box out and look through them.

Several hours later, and after looking through all the boxes we can't find the bloody lamp.!!
