What enclosure did you use..? I'm looking for something suitable to put US style ballasts in. Got to hide the wire explosion somehow  :mrg:

I like using ones from a local manufacturer called Hammond Mfg. This is the one I bought specially for this project. It should have plenty of room for small HPS ballasts. I even managed to fit a 50w MV ballast in it.

The one I bought actually has fairly neat wiring. The ignitor is integrated and there's no PFC cap fitted so there are only 4 leads, and also no wirenuts.  ;D

I bought two incandescent Christmas sets. I'll probably not find another incandescent set in a good time.  ;D :chrlmult:

If you manage to that it'll be good going... :poof:
At least in this time zone, there's only 25 minutes to go.  :D

Aside from the Christmas almost ending, the incandescent sets will get even rarer due to the LEDs.  :poof:

In my time zone there are still 4 hours remaining, but I was pretty lucky though, I bought them in a nearby Christmas bargain.

We don't bother with that, for us the true meaning of Christmas has been ploughed under by all the commercialism.  :curse:
So we just look at it as another day, but do have a special meal and a drink.

Of course we were supposed, but as many Chileans, we do the things at the last moment.  :mrg:

We have got a 35W SOX lamp running on an electronic ballast.  :lps:
It's not as bright as it would be on a magnetic lump though.  :wndr:

I'm proud to announce that I'm going to start a new album specifically designated for light fixtures owned by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

Yesterday:
Fixed an aquarium light..replaced a EOL F20 in it, and installed starter sockets instead of the wired-in starters.

Today:
Replaced a F32 in a plantlight that was starting to go EOL
