What enclosure did you use..? I'm looking for something suitable to put US style ballasts in. Got to hide the wire explosion somehow

I like using ones from a local manufacturer called Hammond Mfg. This is the one I bought specially for this project. It should have plenty of room for small HPS ballasts. I even managed to fit a 50w MV ballast in it. The one I bought actually has fairly neat wiring. The ignitor is integrated and there's no PFC cap fitted so there are only 4 leads, and also no wirenuts.

If you manage to that it'll be good going... At least in this time zone, there's only 25 minutes to go.
Aside from the Christmas almost ending, the incandescent sets will get even rarer due to the LEDs. In my time zone there are still 4 hours remaining, but I was pretty lucky though, I bought them in a nearby Christmas bargain.

Whern't you supposed to decorate yesterday?
We don't bother with that, for us the true meaning of Christmas has been ploughed under by all the commercialism. So we just look at it as another day, but do have a special meal and a drink.

We have got a 35W SOX lamp running on an electronic ballast. It's not as bright as it would be on a magnetic lump though.

I'm proud to announce that I'm going to start a new album specifically designated for light fixtures owned by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

Somewhere There Is Light(ning)

Yesterday: Fixed an aquarium light..replaced a EOL F20 in it, and installed starter sockets instead of the wired-in starters.
Today: Replaced a F32 in a plantlight that was starting to go EOL
