We were envious of the members across the pond getting all of those wonderful lampses from Restores, that is until we got our massive haul last week for NOTHING :bulbman: :bulbman: :bulbman: :bulbman: :bulbman:

Today I finally wired my fence lights to P/Cs so I don't have to constantly change on/off times on the previously installed timers.

Received some lamps from eBay, including Westinghouse Ceramalux C100S54. I will unpack them tomorrow!

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

Modified a few sets of LED icicles to run off DC, and to prevent the LEDs from dying, i also added a dropper capacitor to reduce the LED current and intensity.

Will likely be doing more tomorrow.

A capacitor ^ .ug. might as well throw them away .LOL. since that makes them useless (ie: non-dimmable) .LOL.

Worked on a set of lights that I'm converting to LED (it'll get a pic at some point later when its done).
Also put up multiple sets of lights outside.

If i was going to use them on a dimmer, then i might agree with you. But since that's not the case, they're useable :P.

We've lit another of the lamps that we got in our massive haul at the end of October.  :bulbman:
It's a 500W SBMV lamp :mv:

Pictures to follow.  8)

Today a huge shipment of a variety of bulbs arrived from eBay. I'll post pictures as soon as I get some spare time to get everything organized.

did some setwork today and got to look at the stashes of halogen par lamps and also saw an old 1kw open rated syvaina metal hailide lamp i might ask for as i think it was for the old gym high bays before they got led'ed because there are a few missed out 1kw fictures in the weight room of the gym that are never on

In my case, I want to be able to fade them on & off .LOL. much nicer effect than blinking straight on/off..
