Fan sounds knock me out most of the time. But specifically the musical aspect of it, not just the sound of the air. If the fans have sounds that match and they give off a duet ambiance type of sound (if that makes any sense) that's when I drift off to sleep. Sometimes without even knowing it. lol

Yeah me and severe thunderstorms being relaxing is an absolute no no. haha... if there is a severe thunderstorm, I'm watching it to see what events unfold. Regular thunderstorms on the other hand, I could sleep through. Severe and Supercell storms, no way. And that bacon looks really good, but with me if the slice of bacon is that thick, it has GOT to be cooked throughout the entire middle portion as well with no cold spots. I'm not sure if I've ever had a bacon piece ever like the pic you just posted though lol

Tight steering in sporty cars.  My Jetta has a 36 foot turning circle and the steering wheel takes 2.8 full turns to go from lock to lock. Casting a fishing rod and hearing the small, fast ticking sound of a well strung rod

If the storm is bad enough to produce hail and strong winds, it is no longer fun for me.  I agree with you, Suzukir122 that some severe storms are not relaxing.  I'm happy with thunderstorms until the first hail stone falls, and then I freak out and go move my car to shelter.

Yep Hail is never a good thing and they're often times associated with supercell storms. Especially golf ball and grapefruit sized hail. And based on the structure of the storm, big hail stones are also often times a sign that a potential tornado could be on it's way towards you.

I've witnessed a lot of thunderstorms this summer.  There are lots of afternoon thunderstorms that develop in the mountainous regions of the Carolinas and I have a perfect view of the storms from the back porch as they swallow the mountains in low clouds.  The thunder and lightning shows are amazing as the thunder echoes over the open area over the lake and I can see where the lightning strikes on the mountains across the lake.  Sometimes it's a nice gentle thunderstorm with light rain and soft rumbles of thunder.  I like to sit on the back porch with a beer for those relaxing types of storms.  It's amazing to see a storm develop, move across the landscape and then pass over my house.  Other times, the storms have been violent with heavy downpours, gusty winds, cloud to ground lightning, and deafening thunder.  Thankfully no hail since last March.  I close the doors and windows, stay inside, and often go down to the basement when one of these severe storms strikes.
