This is a unique old fixture. :D

Oh I like this one. :D
Has a 1948 preheat ballast.
May have the original Circline bulb. ???
Bulb etch not visible in the pictures.
But it does look old to me anyway.

I had one of these a long time ago in the 1960s.
It is new in the box and rare to find one in new condition like this.

I have never seen one like it before.
The holes for the starters are not round. ???
I can't tell if it had a glass cover or not.
I see no screw holes for a cover.
I am thinking the fixture may have been used for photography in the 1940s.
I have see similar design modern fixtures fluorescent used in photography.
There are two switches on the back that may have been for two different levels of lighting.
Whatever it was used for, it sure is different. :D
