I don't know why, if it is just me or if people are having a problem with my presence here.

Hi Dave, I haven't witnessed any negative reaction to your being here (I suppose it's none of my business anyhow), but I think I can speak for everyone here when I say that you are a huge asset here. I learn something new almost every time you upload a photo! As well, you're a good friend and always kind to everyone here. If anyone here is trying to give you a hard time, just ignore them. They're not worth your time or thoughts.

I love seeing your posts and you are very helpful on dating lamps for me and other members. I believe you are a asset to the gallery NOT a burden.

Agreed! I haven't seen anything untoward myself but I can't see why anyone would have a problem.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still around and I've added pics whenever I got stuff to show. Sometimes I wonder if I have a problem in being literal and overreacting to things. When people don't talk to me I automatically suspect they had a problem with me. I hate those feelings but those moods are tough to control at times ugh.

I am not always the best at responding immediately to posts on here when life gets busy, but I DO love the members here, especially the fellow fluorescent enthusiasts. Your posts are always noticed by many, including myself and I am sorry I am sometimes slow at replying to PMs or comments.

I don't always comment on pictures, but I do look at them. I think we all learn a lot from your posts, Dave.

Well, there are plenty of times I'm fine with the way things usually go on L-G but at moments for some reason I get quite sensitive and I hate it when that happens. I understand that likely no one actually has a thing against me here, I just don't always get it right and I'm trying to overcome it. I'm thankful for all my friends I made through this site which made it possible.

I love bulbs of all types.
|
When I don't get any comments on my pictures I look at the most viewed items and go to the last page and I can see how many views my pics have so I know that people have seen them. Just go to most viewed in your gallery and not the public gallery.

Say no to bulb bans??? I do like the energy efficient & the energy star products. If older light fixtures can use energy efficient & the energy star bulbs and can use energy efficient &/or energy star parts, that is what I go for.

6500K Color Temperature Kelvin lighting works for me. I use 6500K CFL in all my incandescent light fixtures. I use 6500K Flurescent bulbs in my flurescent fixtures. I hope prices get better and hope I find 6500K LED lighting in the future. I love energy efficient and Energy Star products. Way to go!
