GE Power Grooves Sill Made? « on: December 01, 2012, 10:43:21 PM » Author: mrboojay
According to this page on GE's website, it looks like they still make their F96PG17, in daylight and cool white 215 Watts, and a F96PG17/CW/WM 185 Watts.

Do they still make these or are they selling what they have left?

The online GE catalog seems to lag behind what they are actually making. But it's possible. A friend of mine in the UK bought a case of Daylight 96" Powergrooves which are stored at another friend's house in Seattle, but we can't figure out how to safely ship the lamps overseas. He'd probably sell a pair at cost if you could pick them up.

To be honest I didn't know powergroves even existed before I joined L-G. They really are an amazing concept.

Beside of this discusion I have to tell now that they recently stopped to import Powergroove 215W tubes to Switzerland!
The main importer ceased the partnership with Sylvania now and thats sad...  >:(

I'd love to have one of these! Not sure what I'd run it with here, I'd have to import a ballast as I've never heard of them being used here in England. In fact I'm a bit surprised they were imported into Europe at all.
