Today's REstore finds 03/17 « on: March 17, 2012, 11:03:44 PM » Author: Powell
BZZZT!  A strike out. So  I bought some record albums.  They had NO "new" stuff, so I did purchase 4 more F30T8 SPX30 lamps with the OLD USA end caps and logo.

But I hit success at Thrift Avenue,  Pets INC's thrift store.  I found a cheap 1 lamp oriental 15 watt desk lamp with a F15T8D  Westinghouse black ender ( of course ) and it appears unused or almost so.

Then I spotted IT. Hey and old Sylvania ( it did have zip codes on it though) 20 watter. Cool White. I didn't read carefully. It's a lifeline logo styled DELUXE Cool White, though the package says GTE Sylvania and never used.  It came from a Richway store ( this chain of store long gone ) and back then cost $2.89.  Both bulbs have been on since 7:30 PM and it is after 11 PM and most of the excess mercury has ionized. The Sylvania tube was flashed by the starter half a dozen times before it came on.
