can someone date this westy? « on: January 08, 2012, 04:06:28 PM » Author: toomanybulbs
i suspect it is an older phosphor formula as it does not clash with the /950's in my other fixtures.
other cw lamps give a nasty yellow green tint to everything.these dont.
found in the crawlspace of my place which was built in 1969.box was beyond rotten.i suspect these are newer than the home as it looks as if someone installed 2 ballasts and sockets for 4 of these in a decorative boxed in section between the living room and kitchen.just screwed everything to the wood.http://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=10580&pos=11&pid=54451

thanks.i have to remember to look at the pic comments as well as the forum.
any idea whats different about the phosphor?
much better color rendering than modern /cw at the expense of lower efficiency no doubt.
qualifies for use here.much of my appliances and electronics are older than me!
