LOL! I have one of those, but on the front porch I have a daylight 85 watt one that puts out 5700 lumens. Can we say bright. It makes those look like a baby. It's too large to burn sideways.

85W are available here too
There are 250W ones in Google Images. Wonder why not just use HID where ever those are used

There's also a 105w version, that (supposedly) would output 7000lm, but probably much less.

120V 60Hz here!
|
Cool! I keep thinking about picking one of those up, but I only see them in 2700K and I don't really like that low of a color temp for fluorescents. 1000bulbs has some pretty massive spiral cfls and in various color temps.

Bring SOX lamps back!!!
FYI, LED's are NOT the most efficient lighting technology available! Don't know how people keep coming to that conclusion!
My other interests: sports cars, refrigeration, microcontroller projects, computer hardware, and any sort of custom fabrication.

If size does not matter you can make one yourself by combining a PL-T or PL-L with a socket and magnetic ballast

I seen today Hyundai 120W 6500K one for sale in a local hardware shop. The shop also uses 2 of them themselfes, in addition to 2 110W HO's and bunch of 36W T8's
They really are glare bombs - more power than the HO's but crammed into a 8U T5 CFL

Other loves are printers/scanners/copiers, A/Cs

Ash: Usually high wattage CFLs are either helical or 4U T5 CFLs.
