Do shoe box light fixtures ever become dated looking? We had some installed in a shopping center back in 1990 and they still look new. They actually look like the new ones that are still being installed in my area today. When you look at shoe box light fixtures, you really can't guess the age of them.

Hard time, but the type of lamp / condition / age of the area around can give you a clue
