Atlas alpha 3 or Thorn Alpha 3? « on: April 13, 2025, 04:05:32 AM » Author: Eleco_SR304
Recently, on @LeoLampposts website, I've seen
this geared version which uses 4 clips (2 at each side). Usually, 4 clips versions are the Atlas ones so I'm quite confused if this one is an Atlas version or an Thorn version. Usually, 2 clips versions are from Thorn.

The alpha 3 is right at the bottom

Usually I collect bulbs (Mostly LED) and some HID ones. I also own a couple of streetlights, but most are made in Poland.

However, I mostly prefer SOX bulbs. LED bulbs in their efficacy will never beat SOX bulbs, in my opinion.

I never knew that this collector had developed their own website dedicated to British street lighting.

@WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA Yes he does, he's had it for a few years too.
@Eleco_SR304 I think it's a Thorn, that's just my opinion though.
