Los Angeles 'HELP' Land « on: March 17, 2025, 03:31:04 AM » Author: Eleco_SR304
Anyone noticed this in Los Angeles  :o

You may want to change it to Satellite

Usually I collect bulbs (Mostly LED) and some HID ones. I also own a couple of streetlights, but most are made in Poland.

However, I mostly prefer SOX bulbs. LED bulbs in their efficacy will never beat SOX bulbs, in my opinion.

I heard that if you open this in apple maps, they have blurred out that area and it looks like a blank land. It is only visible in Google maps.

Look for a brown sandy land, a little bottom left to the dropped pin, where there are giant rusty iron pipes. You will see "HELP", "LAPD" and even a misspelled "Traffic" written using those rods.

If you have an iPhone, which uses apple, it won't show the land, just like @LightsAreBright27 said.
If you have an android phone/iPad/Laptop, It will show the land as android uses Google

If you have Google maps, just go to the area and change it to Satellite (like I said)

I've heard that this could actually be a prank with the workers, but I'm not sure. There must have been a reaseon it is blurred on apple maps.

Well I don't know what caused it. People are trying to solve what has caused to have HELP words on the land. But on a normal street view, the area just looks fine, with a couple of Floodlights installed on the area.

Seems some one used Poles to create the HELP word. I wonder if someone did this in the 21st Century or was that done 100 yrs ago?

But the thing is is that a couple of different words were written on this land and now people are trying to figure out why this happened...

Just very odd to see this 😑

Oooh, I was looking at the wrong area. According to Google earth pro (in which you can adjust the satellite view) they appeared between September 2022 and June 2023.

Well, it's quite odd that the construction area has the help signs everywhere...

Especially in 2023

Wait a sec- before 2012, there used to be some abandoned cars and buildings, does that have anything to do with this?
