Yeah.  I was literally seconds from having a new bid in.  I was bidding on mobile from work, and my phone is just a basic 12-key flip phone.  I went to type in a higher bid, but instead of .00 it filled in .+ which came back as an invalid amount.  By the time i got it corrected, sent and confirmed, the auction had closed.

I tried for them but was outbid.  Was a shame too because it looked like they had black-end lamps and the one starter looked like it could have been a watchdog.

Well damn! Hopefully you will be as happy with the 4 lamp F20 fixtures as I am with mine! Only issue I have is mine looks like it is supposed to have "pins" to hold it up flush against the ceiling once installed. They are hidden so I can make some with no problem. Let me know what you think when you get yours.

Awesome! That is a beauty! Good luck! I just made a "buy it now" purchase of 5 three lamp F40 preheat ballasts on e-bay! Will be perfect for my Miller fixtures when I have ballast failure.

Wow congrats! I hope it works out.  I have a place picked out for it.  I also want to restore my Mitchell halfpiper, and being of similar design, would make a good guide for that effort.

Thanks!  And good luck on getting that vintage beauty.  I would have the seller pack it in a well packed box, inside of another box with lots of padding. It would be a shame for those glass ends to get broken.

Thanks!  I like these smaller halfpipes because they never seemed to be common around where I live.  Also, they are much easier on shipping costs than 4 foot fixtures.
