This is simply too late the unban, after the Chinese ruined all of the American incandescent lamp business.

(Being aware of myself being a strait white male) I feel that human rights and equality are far more important than some outdated lightbulb. I personally love to be around incandescent but it has had a good run and has well and truly been phased out by the general public.

Is there any HPS plants left in the US?, I wonder what big Don really thinks of LED street lighting 🤔and/or he prefers HPS?

There is high chance he will stop any of those eventual bans, but I don't think it will change the outcome in any way: The market has already quite strong momentum towards the LEDs and there is not that much incentive to change the course, when the LED fixtures cost is not that far off from the HPS ones, but the light quality is, from a normal mortal perspective, way better even for the worst LEDs. And so is the overall system efficacy (= lower power consumption for the same formal performance criteria).

I doubt LED even saving energy than polluting the environment. If you have noticed, the climate changes began as soon as all of the regular lamps has been banned and the LED became popular.
