I noticed that too!  Dammit!  I should have replied and told him I wanted it, then could have let you get it instead!  Well, at least we each scored one of these beauties!  I hope someone here got the remaining one!  I hope those lamps make it!  They look to be well protected if the thing is packaged well.

Yeah.  Oh well, I'll find a use for it.  I am excited about those lamps.  I hope they make it. When I shipped my Mitchell from Louisiana to Alaska, I left the lamps in it.  I wrapped the whole thing in clingwrap and put it in a box filled with peanuts.  I than put that in a larger box with other stuff, again filled with peanuts.  It made it alright.

@icefoglights, he e-mailed me and said he had pulled it because I had said I was interested in it.  I responded back and said the guy in Alaska that won the other one is interested in it.  (I told him we were friends on a lighting forum)  Hopefully he will be in touch with you!  Message him and remind him who you are and that you want it.

@icefoglights, you may get yours first.  I paid with a postal money order, as my paypal account was hacked and ran up several debits on my account, until funds were depleted.  Paypal reinstated the funds, but "froze" the account.  Kinda worried me so I never "unfroze" it.

Unfortunately, no.  The one in my bedroom is a USA made Hunter, but the others (living room, dining room, spare bedroom) are import "Hunter" branded.  Would love to find some working vintage ones!

I have 4 imported Hunter fans in this house.  I'd love to have an old Hunter Original, but they don't make those in a low ceiling hugger model.  Also have one room with a small Harbor Breeze fan.  The Hunter's maybe imported, but I still think they are superior to the others out there.

Since 100% of ceiling fans are now imported, the Hunters are the best.  Nothing compares to the "original" USA made Hunter, with the oil bath bearings.  VERY quiet fan.  I can't complain about the "import" Hunter either.  I have one in my dining room that stays on low 24/7/365 and it was installed in 1999.

I agree.  One of my Hunters has been frequently used since 2002 and is still dead silent.  The Harbor Breeze has had a noticeable hum since day one.  Unfortunately Hunter doesn't make an equivalent model to it.
