We went to my aunt’s house today, and of course that means going through the countryside.

I always enjoy it to look at all of the lights out there. I saw lots of GE 201 SA NEMAs, a few AEL NEMAs and various LEDs. I even saw a GE Town and Country post top and an acorn post top.

I didn’t get any pics, as we’ve all seen most of these, but I do enjoy seeing them, especially when not driving.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Sounds interesting, when I visit my gran we sometimes go to some more family who live in rural Queensland, always interesting to see the old minor road lights used out there.

Oh cool. We don’t really have much roadway lights here in the country, other than sometimes along highway intersections.

Most of the lights there are either private lights people install themselves, or leased lights on their own land.

Looka at the intersection between Solitaire cct and sandalwood ave, Dalby, QLD, Australia on streerview, there are tones of little towns all throughout Queensland (QLD), most of the lighting is on timber power poles like at 23 Moffiatt St, Goondiwindi, QLD, Australia on google maps. I'm writing the street names because I'm on my phone and Web streetview is useless on  mobile. The lights are Sylvania Streetled mk3s, a staple of Queensland.
