What are some of your rarest lamps and why? « on: November 01, 2024, 02:32:10 AM » Author: LightsAreBright27
I just want to know. Almost all my lamps are rare as they are Indian, but here are some of the rarest.

Samson F10T12 BL (very rare size, along with being BL)
Mysore palace branded 15w incandescent (this lamp is manufactured and used only in one place, and cannot be bought generally)
Surya F40T12 in red, green and blue (very obscure information, not even their official website's fluorescent page has it mentioned)
Madhab neon lamps,  swastik and shree (rare to find good quality neon lamps)
Goldy specially shaped incandescents, rocket and spiral (no machines to produce this shape)
Suralux F14T8 5000k (supposed to be a F15 in 6500k, but got manufacturing defect. 14w tubes are not a standard ever used in India)

Those are some cool lamps!

I have...
-2 Westinghouse blackender 'F4T5s' (4W Standard Cool White) from the early-mid 1950s
-2 GTE Sylvania FA4T5/WW/RS/5004s... Rapid start and aircraft lamps are quite uncommon
-A Remington Rand Aperture lamp (I have never found any information on the lamps)
-And I have a Philips Alto F20T12 K&B-SW which are actually uncommon!
